Anyone who gets a bill from PEPCO has probably been a little gobsmacked by the size of their bills this winter.  Candy Sandwich and Not a Girl, Not Yet a Wino are not exceptions.  PEPCO doesn’t have any comment according to FOX-5 of DC.

Once again the DC Council makes it hard to defend our fair city’s winter weather habits with toothless legislation.  Both DC Wire and DCist warn that failure to remove snow from your car may result in a “stern talking to.”

PithyComments removes the gloves (and protective tape underneath them too) and takes a few swings at infectious memes and the practice of writing letters to imaginary people (maybe NSFW due to pointed language.) 

If you haven’t noticed the DC Art on Call project, you have missed a delightful addition to the cityscape.  Old Emergency Call boxes all over the city have been converted to mini-art displays.  DC Metrocentric reports that the Downtown Business Improvement District took the ball one an additional step.
