I wrote about the flip side of the Uptown (and another local theater) just last night. I used to think the Uptown was the best, but I haven’t been interested in returning since my last experience there, a handful of years ago now. Miss the big screen, but not enough to go back…

I think it’s a harsh paraphrase to say the Metro conductor urged riders to complain. He was simply suggesting that we ask for better service if we were unhappy about it. Maybe he was also trying to move some of the heat he was taking for the 4 car train to the folks at Metro who actually made the decision to run it during rush hour.
