As we all know, our scrappy hometown Washington Nationals were once the Montreal Expos. Expos legend Gary Carter, who is also one of the members of the Nats’ Ring of Honor (and in your humble editor’s opinion, one of the best, most joyous and most fun-loving players in the history of baseball), lost his battle with brain cancer yesterday at the age of 57. Federal Baseball pays tribute to the man known as The Kid.
