If you like Four Mile Run and Barcroft Park or you just want to be an environmentally conscious good doobie (and possibly meet some like-minded people of the same or opposite sex who possibly might like you — not that that’s what you’re about, but they’ll probably be a better class of people than you’d meet in a bar right before last call, you know?) why not join the Stream Cleanup at Barcroft Park on May 3? What’s Up Arlington has the details.
Sometimes blogs or online journals aren’t about what’s hip and trendy. They’re just about what’s happening in someone’s life and sometimes that’s just looking into the abyss, which looks right back at you. That’s what Life Is Not a Dress Rehearsal is writing about right now. I’m not sure what can be done except to read sympathetically, but anyone who knows this woman, please do something kind, like, right now.

No wonder men die five years earlier than women, suffer 98% of workplace fatalities, and only control 30% of consumer spending. With women like you, why wouldn’t men want to just crawl off into a hole and die.

Barbara: You’re entirely welcome and do let me know if you find out that anyone, ever, bought that silly iron.
Jack: I think you might be the kind of man Kassy K was writing about, but reasonable minds can differ about that. But there’s a lot of stress and anger there. So your solution is that women shouldn’t give birth? That will definitely solve a lot of our environmental problems. Also, we’ll become extinct. If that’s your goal, good luck with that.
